Christine A. Varcoe is a dedicated development professional with over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector, complemented by a background in marketing and community relations. As the Director of Communications and Development, she strives to raise awareness of the organization’s mission and to inspire increased support from the community, thereby creating a transformative impact on the lives of the animals served.

Christine is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is significantly engaged with her local community and Chamber of Commerce. She serves as Co-chairperson of the Leadership North Port Program, of which she is also an alumnus.

In her personal time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her family and beloved pets. Throughout the years, she has proudly adopted five rescue dogs and two rescue cats. She and her husband currently share their home with two rescue dogs: an American Eskimo and a Bernedoodle.
